Door modification of norm abram's "garden shed and recycling center".. Essentially, the entire end of the shed will open with the weight of the motorcycle travel to be supported directly by the aluminum ramp ad deck mounted hinge, the cable ends that lift and lower the door, are to be attached to the edges of the wooden "wall/door" attached to the bottom of the ramp.. Make your shed door into a multipurpose fixture by replacing it with a drawbridge-style ramp. use strong hinges at the bottom of your door attached on the front facing so the door can fold down into ramp position easily..
Use this method to build your shed doors if you are siding your walls before standing them up. this is a little more complicated then the method listed above. when i built sheds professionally this is the method i used because it allowed me to already have my doors built and have them ready on the job site.. One cool suggestion, if your shed is going to be elevated and need a ramp why not get rid of your ramp and make a drawbridge door/ramp that would raise/lower via a hidden crank winch permalink embed.
